Basic Formula Of Trigonometry For Beginners

Trigonometry !!!!! Most of the students says that trigonometry is very difficult. But it is not real. They have to learn basic concept of trigonometry and basic formula as well. So here are some formula are given do create the basic concepts.

1.Reciprocal Relations

i)  SinA.CosecA=1 ⇒ sinA=1/CosecA and CosecA=1/SinA
ii) CosA.SecA=1 ⇒ CosA= 1/SecA and SecA=1/CosA
iii) TanA.CotA=1 ⇒ TanA=1/CotA and CotA=1/TanA

2.Quotient Relations

i) TanA=SinA/CosA
ii) CotA=  CosA/SinA

3. Pythagoras Relations

i) Sin²A+Cos²A=1 ⇒ Sin²A=1-Cos²A  ⇒ SinA= √(1-Cos²A) and 
⇒ Cos²A=1-Sin²A  ⇒ CosA= √(1-Sin²A)
ii) Sec²A- Tan²A=1 ⇒ Sec²A=1+Tan²A  ⇒ SecA= √(1+Tan²A) and 
⇒ Tan²A=Sec²A-1  ⇒ TanA= √(Sec²A-1)
iii) Cosec²A- cot²A=1 ⇒ Cosec²A=1+Cot²A  ⇒ cosecA= √(1+Cot²A) and 
⇒ Cot²A=Cosec²A-1  ⇒ CotA= √(Cosec²A-1)
